This tutorial will show how to start out in creating an abstract painting. It’s full of great tips, tricks and techniques that you can easily apply to any artwork.
We’ll be looking at how to apply several painting techniques using different tools and how you can apply these techniques to your paintings.
This course is ideal for beginners as well as those who wish to refresh their abstract painting skills and learn from a professional artist. Once completed students will be able to progress to more advanced techniques.
Each session, students will be introduced to various aspects in relation to the course. The sessions will explore a combination of contextual references and practical exercises and demonstrations, which include:
1. Starting out by defining your tools and creating them cheaply.
2. Using different colours and tools to create different abstract effects.
3. How to develop blending techniques to create abstract effects and bring out textual features.
